Coastal Web Services Update: MONTH 2010Using Flash Technology to Improve Your Website
Flash is a browser independent and bandwidth-friendly vector-graphic animation technology. In other words, Flash is a program that combines text, images, music, photos, background colors, and/or video clips into an aesthetically-pleasing and customizable presentation. Flash is a dynamic way of displaying information in a way that gets attention. Often times, it used to bring animation and interactivity to a site. Examples of Flash that you may have come across online include slideshow photo galleries, web videos, or online catalogues that give the option to view their product in different colors. A benefit of using Flash is that it is one-of-a-kind and unique to each website. It’s often found to be the “icing on the cake” for many websites as there are limitless possibilities of what can be done in Flash. There are many uses and options that can be incorporated into a Flash web design. Feel free to visit our website for more information or check out the websites below we’ve designed that include Flash technology: If you are interested in adding Flash technology to your website, feel free to contact Coastal Web Services at 410-420-9390. |

Health Tips ?Spring is here, time for a new you;
By Jenn Parr
Have you heard the old saying, "You are what you eat?" Well guess what?! It’s absolutely true! What you eat becomes a part of your mind, body, and soul. The food you put into your body can directly impact your life, being that nutrition is imperative to our existence. Proper nutrition will allow you to think clearly and live a healthy and long life. You will not only have radiant skin and slow the aging process, but your body will be purified from the inside out. Imagine not only looking great, but FEELING great as well!
In David Wolfe’s book, Eating for Beauty, he writes that “the US went from being the healthiest nation in the world in 1900, out of a hundred surveyed, to dead last in 1990.” We’ve gotten so busy and so accustomed to quick, easy, and on-the-go solutions in regards to food and medicine that we have forgotten our roots. Between work, picking up the kids from sports practice, and juggling social activities, it’s no wonder that we get wrapped up in unhealthy, “quick fix” routines. We need to go back to the basics! This is what our nation needs to make the “norm” when it comes to nutrition.
If you want a better, healthier lifestyle for you and your family, take small steps. All of this you have been hearing about organic foods is not just a trend- it’s so popular because these foods are all delicious, natural, and nutritious! Plant organic fruits, vegetables, or herbs this spring! Be sure to use fresh nutrient rich soil and organic seeds so that you are growing the purest and most nutritious food possible. Feel free to visit http://www.eastcoastorganics.com/ to find local outlets to buy natural supplies and you'll soon be reaping the health benefits (and saving money)! |
